Navigation:
The navigation bar on the left is used to find the information that you are searching for. When a navigation point has been selected, a choice of options will appear underneath. All navigation points are clearly marked when selected. This is so you always know where you are on the site.
At the top on the left hand side is the logo. To get back to the front page of the website you can click on the logo.
If you want to print out some of the pages in the website, click on the screen of the page you wish to print and then click on 'print' at the top of the page on the browser.

Browser:
Around 95% of Danish Internet users use a browser with versions over 4.0. Danish Shipowners' Association has been optimised for these browsers and versions so that each visitor to the site will experience the site in the same way.
If you want to see which version is installed on your computer, you should select 'help' at the top of the page on the menu bar. Then you should select 'about' and the number of the version will appear.
Optimization:
The site has been optimised for a screen resolution starting from 800x600. That corresponds to the standard recommendation on a normal 15" screen.
If you want to see which resolution your screen has, place the mousepointer on the windows desktop and click the right hand mouse button. Then click properties and settings.
The main requirement of the site is speed. The graphic elements and pictures used have therefore been highly optimised.
As an added feature the website has been developed with an administrative interface. With this feature Danish Shipowners' Association can update the information on the site without any knowledge of programming.
