The Danish Shipowners' Association plays an active role in relation to authorities and decision-makers. We participate nationally and internationally in all relevant forums, and have a permanent representation in Brussels.

We take part in developing concrete solutions for many areas relating to industrial policy, employment and regulation, such as setting the framework conditions for shipping. When it comes to safety at sea, we ensure the best conditions for ships and seafarers.

The Shipowners’ Association sets high priority on climate and environmental work. Shipping is the most climate-friendly mode of transport available. Therefore, we will assume our responsibility and contribute to reducing overall CO₂ emissions in order to work towards a global agreement on shipping and CO₂ emissions.
